Tiny Relief ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Tiny Relief iOS application ("App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Short version: We collect as little as possible. We never sell your data. We don't use it for advertising. You can delete everything, anytime.

We never: sell your personal data, use it for advertising targeting, share it with data brokers, or use it to train AI models.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider that uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request full deletion at any time through the App's Settings screen. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing data they collect.

Supabase
Database storage and user authentication. Stores mood logs, task history, and account data.

Push Notifications

With your explicit permission, we send up to 1–2 gentle reminder notifications per day. These are wellness nudges only — never marketing or promotional content.

You may disable notifications at any time through your iPhone's Settings app. Disabling notifications does not affect any App features.

We never send notifications between 10pm and 8am your local time. No urgency language. No guilt. Ever.

Your Rights & Choices

Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Deletion
Delete your account and data via Settings → Delete Account. Processed within 30 days.
Opt-out of Analytics
Opt out via your device's Privacy settings under Tracking.
Notification Control
Disable push notifications anytime via iPhone Settings.
Portability
Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at relieftiny@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what we collect, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt out of sale.

We do not sell personal information to any third parties, period.

European Users (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under GDPR. Our legal bases for processing include contract performance (providing the App's services) and legitimate interests (improving the App and preventing fraud).

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via the email associated with your account (if applicable). Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
